Ready-stock tracks in 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm lengths are available for same-day collection from this location.

Patented Triple Redundancy Safety (TRS) — three independent layers:

1. Active Grounded Shield: Two silver aluminium strips (Faraday cage principle) actively ground the track aperture — incidental contact is earthed before reaching live conductors.
2. Lock-and-Key System: Circuit is always-off. Only a genuine Line8 adaptor at the correct depth, height, and rotation can close the circuit.
3. Child-Safe Push-Pull Switch: Requires simultaneous opposing forces (like a child-resistant cap). Adaptor locks mechanically when ON — cannot be removed while live.

Certifications: Singapore Safety Mark (reg. 210001-00 & 231091-12), SS 241, SS 145, IEC61534, IEC 60884-2-5, SIRIM (Malaysia), GMARK (Middle East), RCM Mark (Australia/NZ).

The track is IP2X certified finger-safe. The asymmetric lock-and-key geometry means the circuit cannot be closed by any object other than a genuine Line8 adaptor. The active grounded shields immediately earth any incidental contact. Any fault current trips your home's RCCB/ELCB instantly.

Tracks are built from aerospace-grade hard-anodised aluminium and PBT polymer — non-rusting, chemically resistant. Live conductors are deeply recessed, preventing splash water from bridging contacts. If substantial water creates a leakage path, the active grounded shield discharges it to earth, immediately tripping your RCCB/ELCB. Once dry, reset the breaker — no repair needed.

Yes — Line8 is specifically engineered for kitchen use. The aluminium track efficiently dissipates heat. Adaptor housings carry a UL94 V-0 fire resistance rating (self-extinguishing thermoplastic). Steam and light splashes have no electrical effect due to the deeply recessed, Faraday-shielded contacts.

Zero standby power — 0.0W. The core track and adaptors are fully mechanical with no internal electronics. The asymmetric lock-and-key keeps the circuit open when no adaptor is engaged — no current can flow. Power is drawn only when an adaptor is engaged, rotated, and its switch activated.

• Undersized earth conductors that melt under fault current, leaving you unprotected.
• Reversed polarity — bi-directional adaptors can be inserted upside-down, energising appliance chassis even when switched off. Line8 adaptors are unidirectional only.
• No Lock-and-Key — degrading plastic flaps that crack over time, exposing live parts.
• Non-compliant materials — standard ABS instead of V0-rated PBT — a fire hazard under sustained load.

No — international adaptors are for commercial and overseas use only. Singapore regulations require all residential sockets to carry the Safety Mark, which applies only to British BS1363 (3-pin) type sockets. For home use, select our Premium British or Zen British adaptors — both Safety Mark certified.

Residential: Kitchen backsplashes, TV consoles, study desks, bedside tables, wardrobes, feature walls, under-cabinets.

Commercial: Meeting room tables, co-working spaces, pantries, retail displays, laboratories, hospitality venues.

Model guide: SL (Surface) for walls and desktops · R (Recessed) flush into carpentry · TL (Triangle) for desk edges, under-cabinet, and 90° corners.

Install when fixed carpentry and tiling is 80–90% complete. This ensures countertops, feature walls, and built-in cabinets are in place for accurate measurement — especially important for Model R recessed tracks. Share site photos with our team and we'll guide measurements.

For completed spaces, Line8 is a drop-in upgrade — tracks mount over existing socket holes using the same wiring. No hacking or rewiring required.

Existing socket upgrade: No new wiring needed. Remove the faceplate, connect Live/Neutral/Earth to the Line8 terminal block, mount over the original hole — done.

New installation: Ask your electrician to run standard 3-core wiring (Live, Neutral, Earth) — identical to any wall socket requirement.

Yes. Line8 provides: step-by-step video guides for Model S/SL and Model R, a Drop-In Upgrade Guide for completed spaces, a Graphical Installation Guide (PDF), a Detailed Installation Manual (PDF), and an Uninstallation Guide for relocation. A standard upgrade takes around 5 minutes.

1. Insert the adaptor into the track aperture fully.
2. Rotate 90° clockwise to engage the electrical connection.
3. Power on: Premium series — pull the push-pull ring outward. Zen series — activates in the final rotation degrees.

To remove: switch off, rotate 90° anti-clockwise, pull out. The adaptor is mechanically locked while ON — it cannot be removed while live.

Yes — tracks are fully reusable. An uninstallation guide is available on the installation page. The track uninstalls in minutes and remounts at your new home using the existing socket wiring. All adaptors also untwist and pack with you. Line8 provides an Uninstallation Guide specifically for this purpose.

Yes — Line8 offers complete kit packages that bundle tracks and adaptors at a better price than buying separately. Each package allows you to customise track lengths and deploy across multiple areas of your home up to the package limit. Available in Black Hairline from $438 and premium colours from $498.

Faster option: 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm stock lengths in all finishes are available for same-day collection at our Toh Guan showroom (34 Toh Guan Rd E #01-22, S608579).

Maximum: 3,000mm (3 metres) per single track. Multiple tracks can be connected for longer runs.
Minimum recommended: 450mm. Shorter tracks can be made but are billed at the 450mm rate.
All custom lengths cut to 1mm precision at no extra charge.

Initial price is higher, but total cost of ownership is significantly lower. Cheap uncertified tracks risk fires and electrocution. Line8 is a Lifetime-Warranted reusable asset — tracks and premium adaptors move with you when you relocate. Replacement costs and electrician call-outs for failed cheap tracks quickly exceed Line8's price.

Line8 offers 11 premium hand-applied finishes including metallics (Black Hairline, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, Titanium), naturals (Indian White Marble, Walnut Wood, Teak Wood), and whites/neutrals. Each finish is hand-applied at our Singapore factory. Custom lengths are cut to your exact specification at no extra cost. The Black Hairline finish is the most popular and is the lowest price tier.

• Model SL (Surface Light): Flat-back surface mount with integrated accessory channel. Modern successor to older Model S.

Yes — Line8 supports simultaneous AC mains and Low Voltage DC from a single rail. Multimedia modules (HDMI, Cat6, Cat6A, Fibre Optic, Coaxial, Audio) snap in alongside power adaptors. The track's aluminium enclosure acts as an EMI shield, preventing electrical interference from degrading your data signals.

No. Line8 uses machined copper alloy conductors with pure silver switch contacts — no rubber or plastic components that degrade. A self-cleaning micro-wipe activates on every insertion, removing oxidation. Rated to exceed 50,000 insertion/removal cycles without compromise.

Yes — each adaptor is a certified wall-socket equivalent. Any extension strip (4-way, 6-way) that works in a standard wall socket works in a Line8 adaptor. The 13A per-adaptor limit still applies — ensure the combined load of all devices on the extension does not exceed this.

Minimal maintenance required. Fine dust in the aperture is normal and doesn't affect performance — the self-cleaning mechanism clears it on every adaptor insertion. For aesthetic cleaning: remove all adaptors, switch off main power, use a narrow vacuum nozzle on the aperture, then wipe the exterior with a dry or lightly dampened cloth.

The Lifetime Warranty is an add-on extended warranty for Power Tracks and Premium Adaptors against manufacturing defects. Zen, Smart, and USB Charger adaptors are not included.
